AND BUSINESS MATCHMAKING EVENT

This event, hosted by the Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU), will include a panel discussion entitled "Improving Minority and Women Participation in Major State and Local Transportation Projects - A Community Based Approach."

  • Mr. Bob Ashby, Deputy Assistant General Counsel for Regulation and Enforcement, U.S. Department of Transportation, Office of the General Counsel
  • Mr. Sam Carradine, Director of Development and Diversity, The Surety & Fidelity Association of America

In addition, immediately following the panel, a Business Matchmaking Session will be held and will be an opportunity for the small business community to learn about DOT procurement opportunities, as well as subcontracting opportunities with large prime contractors. The session will allow you to network with modal small business specialists, acquisition professionals, technical program managers, SBA Procurement Center Representatives (PCR), and local area Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) managers.

Information will be provided on the major DOT operating administrations and their forecasts.
