Secretary LaHood and Congressman Patrick Murphy to kick off OSDBU Vendor Day for Service Disabled Veterans on November 18th

The Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU) will host a Vendor Day on Wednesday, November 18th which will focus on procurement opportunities announced in the FY2010 Procurement Forecast published on October 1st, 2009 with an emphasis on Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBs). This outreach event will provide an opportunity for SDVOSBs and other small businesses to learn about DOT procurement opportunities. You will also have to opportunity to network with modal small business specialists, acquisition professionals, technical program managers, SBA Procurement Center Representatives (PCR), and local area Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) managers.

Scheduled speakers to include US Secretary of Transportation, Ray LaHood, as well as Iraq veteran and Congressman Patrick Murphy (PA-8).

Information will be provided on the major DOT operating administrations and their forecasts.

The Vendor Day will begin promptly at 9:00 am and conclude at 1:00 pm on November 18th, and will take place at:
